The Translation of Sheikh Hassan’s Answer to the Question about Al-Ibaanah Arabic Center
The Questioner asks: It is known that you inform about Al –Ibaanah Center. It is known that you indeed praise and recommend Al-Ibaanah center. However, some brothers say that the center is Hizbee, known for Bid’ah so what do you say?
The Answer: As far as my knowledge and understanding, the motive behind that is money-oriented and rivalry that is money related from other people that envy Markaz Al-Ibaanah. This is because it (Markaz Al-Ibaanah) is from the first and foremost that started here in Egypt as far as my knowledge. And it became widespread and the students became numerous and the school turned out to be large and that triggered their bitterness for it. However, my knowledge about the sister in charge of the Markaz is that she used to be a Christian and she accepted Islam and made hijrah and she is a SALAFIYYAH before the beginning of the markaz and she searches and asks for salafiyyah. She sends people to me saying “this is a teacher, investigate him and see if he is salafi or not” and the teacher comes and I asks him questions.
Despite all her effort, they didn’t stop. They remained on their ways up until they tainted her image. And l, according to my knowledge there is money oriented rivalry from other people towards her. THEY ONLY WANT BY THIS WAY THE CLOSURE OF THE MARKAZ THAT’S ALL. However, they are wrong and Allah will recompense them for their evil deed. And they have OPPRESSED her. And we used go there and give classes, myself and other scholars Ash Sheikh Ali Al Wassefi. So how can we say that it (Markaz Al-Ibaanah) is Hizbiyyah. These are motives and desires – May Allah preserve us and you- we are not with them in that – May Allah Guide them – Allah Alone is sufficient for us and He is The Best Disposer of Affairs.
